Things to Consider:

Lift Station add-on tanks are designed to be attached to an existing septic tank.

It is imperative that the existing septic tank is water tight to avoid pumping ground water into the drainfield.

If the existing septic tank is older than half its usable life, a combined unit lift station is recommended.
