This underground separator is designed with the plate packs sized for your
specific application, taking into consideration the influent composition, flow rate, and colder water temperatures found in Alaska. Ideally, this separator is installed outside of a building and under a
house keeping pad.
STI-P3®
Each double walled vessel is constructed to the STI-P3® standard for underground storage tanks that includes a tri-level corrosion protection system consisting of:
1. Protective coating: A polyurethane heavy duty dielectric coating which provides the first line of defense against stray
current and galvanic corrosion.
2. Dielectric isolation of the separator from its pi ping, which prevents
the entry of stray currents through plumbing connections.
3. Cathodic Protection: Sacrificial galvanic anodes which provide a protective current flow to
any scratches that may have occurred during shipping and handling.
The STI-P3® double wall oil water separator provides additional
protection with a rugged steel outer wall for secondary containment. This outer wall surrounds the inner separator tank and creates a
monitorable interstice. Any potential tank leak would be captured in this sealed space, preventing any release into the environment.
• Full size access manways allow for complete access to the plate
packs from the surface for easy inspection, maintenance, and oil removal
• Optional sludge clean out pipe for cleaning solids under the plate
packs without removing the packs.
